There aren't many things I enjoy more than going junking! (to me, it's more of a treasure hunt) I am usually not looking for any one certain thing, but I definitely know it when I see it. I try to look more at the detail, texture, and quality of an object rather than it's intended purpose. I am always drawn to rusty, chippy pieces with signs of a well-worn life. When I find a treasure, I don't know at that time how it will fit into an art piece, but they almost always do. I have a couple of favorite outdoor shows, but I also find great pieces at estate sales, yard sales, and secondhand stores like Goodwill, Restore, and ARC.
